What a great day to begin (or end) with a psalm that celebrates the majesty of God! As you read the words of this poetic psalm, see if you can hear the music.

The Lord is king, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed, he is girded with strength. He has established the world; it shall never be moved; your throne is established from of old; you are everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring. More majestic than the thunder of mighty waters, more majestic than the waves of the sea, majestic on high is the Lord! Your decrees are very sure; holiness befits your house, O Lord, forevermore. (Ps. 93)

Now, for a different twist I invite you to sit back and enjoy listening to the words of this psalm sung in Hebrew. The psalm begins with "Adonai," meaning "The Lord," If you watch as they sing, you will see the expression of joy in this psalm. Have a blessed and joyful weekend!
