Our psalm today is another song for the road, this time a (very) short one to be sung at night. It is the last song of ascents, the last song of our pilgrimage. In our church service today, we would call this a benediction. The words are simple:

Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand by night in the house of the Lord! Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the Lord. May the Lord, maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion.  (Ps. 134)

May the Lord bless you!
