A Prayer for the New Year

I am taking a few days off, so Meditate at Eight and Take 10 @ 10:00 will be on a break. I will "see" you again in 2022. I leave you with this prayer for the new year:


Gracious and loving God, thank you for new beginnings. As another year begins, help me to live each day for you. Enlighten my eyes that I might see you at work in my life and in the lives of others around me. Give me wisdom as I am faced with decisions to be made. Fill me with a desire to seek after you more than anything else in this world. Help me to remember that no matter my circumstances, your presence is always with me. Renew in me a sense of joy no matter what I may face, knowing you are my rock and my salvation. And when I forget these things and fail at what I should do, thank you for your grace and mercy. I love you Lord, and I need you. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
